About the Role:
We are seeking a reliable and organized Front Desk Receptionist to join our medical office team. The ideal candidate will have experience with patient scheduling, insurance verification, and prior authorizations in a healthcare setting.

Responsibilities:

• Greet and check in patients professionally and courteously
• Schedule appointments and manage incoming phone calls
• Verify insurance eligibility and patient benefits
• Obtain and process prior authorizations for procedures, imaging, medications, and DME
• Maintain accurate patient records and update demographic information
• Collect copays and assist with front office administrative duties
• Coordinate with providers, insurance companies, and patients regarding authorization status
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and confidentiality at all times

Qualifications:

• Previous medical front desk or receptionist experience preferred
• Experience with insurance verification and prior authorizations required
• Knowledge of EMR/EHR systems
• Strong communication and multitasking skills
• Professional, dependable, and detail-oriented
• Spanish is a plus

Monday to Friday

Experience:

• Medical receptionist/front desk: 3 years preferred
• Prior authorizations: 3 years preferred
