OPEN INTERVIEWS: Monday- Friday 9:00 am to 4:00 pm

As a Cook, y ou will be responsible for improving our residents experience and maintaining a safe, clean, and healthy environment. Your focus will be the basic quality-of-life for our residents, so duties such as taking dining orders, food preperation, and following dietary procedures will be key in the individualized care.

Cook's day-to-day will include:

• Ensure that all dining services/dietary procedures are followed in accordance with establish policies.
• Checking diet trays before distribution. Deliver food carts, trays, etc., to designated areas. Serve food in dining rooms as instructed
• Prepare food in accordance with sanitary regulations, as well as with our establishments policies and procedures.

• Assist in inventory and storng in-coming food and supplies as necessary.
• Follow Dietary safety regulations and precautions at all times.
• Greets and assists all internal and external customers, guests, family members, residents, vendors and team members.

What we are looking for:

• Minimum 1 year cook experience.
• Must be alert and attentive to detail. 
• High School Diploma or equivalent required. 
• Possess leadership and supervisory ability and the willingness to work harmoniously with other personnel.
• Be able to make independent decisions concerning above job duties.
• Possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family member, visitors, government agencies/personnel, vendors, and the general public.
• Be knowledgeable of dietary and meal prep practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to long-term care.

Schedule needs:

• Part-time Cook position for day/evening shift availability
• Rotating Holiday Schedule
• Weekend and every other weekend availablility
