Production Technician

CSI provides hygienic pipe, valves, fittings, pumps, and heat exchangers to industrial companies and industrial service providers. Proliferating our brand as "the people who know sanitary process systems" to the world is a vital part of our growth strategy and we are searching for a disciplined and driven Production Technician to work with our Production team. The Production Technician performs a wide variety of responsibilities requiring a high level of accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks at one time.

Duties include:

• Building crates and wooden boxes
• Assist with cleanup of manufacturing area, buildings, grounds, and vehicle
• Local pick-up and delivery of vehicles, material, parts and equipment
• Cleaning of parts for manufacturing
• Removal of metal chip barrels
• Assembly and disassembly of parts and equipment
• Packing products for shipment
• Loading and unloading trucks
• Operating fork truck and scissor lift
• Picking warehouse material

Persons in this position may be exposed to dust, noise and variations in temperature, both hot and cold. Lifting of heavy objects during truck loading and unloading, parts washing/assembly, and daily cleanup are required.

Salary: $18 - $23 an hour

Required Skills:

Attention to detail Good time management Demonstrates initiative Able to lift heavy objects up to 75 pounds with assistance Carpentry experience is preferred. This position requires standing, bending, kneeling, and stooping. The employee must frequently lift and/or move items up to 75 pounds with assistance. Visual acuity is required to perform work using close, distance, and peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. The employee may be exposed to environmental factors typical of manufacturing. Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment, such as gloves, safety glasses and steel toe shoes. Must be able to safely operate a vehicle.
