Two employment options are available for this position:

• Contract (Independent Contractor) at a rate of $40 per hour
• Salaried Employee (comes with full benefits listed below)

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Complete initial and weekly client nutritional assessments, creates therapeutic and individualized client meal plans and conducts individual and group sessions with client based on level of care.
• Responsible to lead regular nutrition psycho-education groups focusing on nutrition philosophy of balancing nutrition and pleasure to help clients restore a positive relationship with both food and body.
• Provides guidance and assists clients with real-life nutrition tasks such as meal planning, grocery shopping, menu ordering, kitchen skills, and cooking.
• Actively engages in on-going education related to nutrition therapy for eating disorder population, as well as those with neuro-diverse difficulty.
• Assumes other duties as assigned by the Chief Clinical Officer.
• Maintain the clinical records system in accordance with ODMHSAS, OHCA, CARF and CREOKS rules and regulations.
• To read and be knowledgeable of all current CREOKS policies and procedures.
• Responsible for understanding and following all of the administrative, clinical, and programmatic policies and procedures of the agency.
• All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications/Competencies Required:

• Minimum of Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university and registered with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)
• 1+ years’ experience working as a registered dietitian, ideally with eating disorders and/or neuro-diverse pediatrics.
• Basic understanding of social and cultural factors influencing human behavior.
• Knowledge of various treatment modalities as well as a basic understanding of the impact of physical health on overall wellbeing.
• Capability to work as part of a team.
• Core competencies in relation to individuals with co-occurring disorders
• Experience working in integrated care settings or with medical providers is preferred.
