Sr. Cost Accountant

Senior Cost Accountant Pharmavite is seeking an experienced Senior Cost Accountant to support manufacturing cost analysis and financial performance reporting. Key Responsibilities Prepare and analyze monthly material and manufacturing variances, inventory reserves, inventory movement, cost of sales, and system cost flows. Investigate data and reconcile inventory transactions. Prepare monthly journal entries and financial performance packages for operations. Support quarterly forecasting and annual budget preparation. Identify opportunities to increase efficiency in month‑end close processes. Collaborate with manufacturing and logistics teams to understand and communicate operational cost variances. Qualifications Four‑year college or university degree in Accounting or related business field. Minimum of 2 years experience in cost accounting, financial modeling and analysis in a manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of cost accounting, inventory control, and general accounting principles. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Access. Experience with JDEdwards, Oracle, or related ERP system. Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills. Self‑starter able to work independently with minimal supervision and adapt to a fast‑paced environment. Compensation & Benefits National target base pay range: $80,000.00 – $133,000.00 (California and NewYork metro: $88,000 – $146,000). Actual compensation considered based on location, education, experience, and qualifications. Additional benefits may include an annual performance bonus, medical, dental, and vision coverage, 401(k) match, and other wellness benefits.
