Qualifications:

• Valid and current certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist for the state
• Previous experience in a school setting is highly valued
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills

Responsibilities:

• Provide speech and language assessments, deliver therapy sessions, and develop individualized treatment plans for students
• Collaborate with teachers, caregivers, and other specialists to support student outcomes
• Maintain thorough records, progress notes, and required documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of communication-related goals
• Offer resources and guidance to staff and families regarding speech and language development
• Adapt strategies and techniques to a variety of age groups and learning abilities
