Base pay range $50.00/hr - $55.00/hr Microsoft Exchange Administrator (W2 Contract – Remote) Location: Remote US-based Eastern or Central time zones Job Type: W2 Contract Duration: 6 months (extension possible) Work Authorization: Must be authorized to work in the US. NO Sponsorship, NO Corp to Corp Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Microsoft Exchange Administrator to support an enterprise-level Systems Administration team on a contract basis. This role will focus primarily on on-premises Microsoft Exchange administration, with additional support for email migration activities to Exchange Online (Microsoft 365). The ideal candidate has strong hands‑on Exchange experience, is comfortable working in large, complex enterprise environments, and can operate independently in a fast‑paced IT organization. Key Responsibilities Administer and support enterprise-scale on-premises Microsoft Exchange environments Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot Exchange services, mail flow, and performance issues Support Exchange to Exchange Online migration initiatives, including: Hybrid coexistence environments Mailbox migrations User, group, and permission management Migration troubleshooting and remediation Assist with day-to-day Exchange operational tasks and incident resolution Collaborate with Systems Administrators, Infrastructure, and Security teams Follow enterprise change management, documentation, and compliance processes Required Skills & Experience Proven hands‑on experience administering on‑premises Microsoft Exchange in an enterprise environment Experience supporting Exchange Online (Microsoft 365) and hybrid configurations Strong understanding of Active Directory integration with Exchange Experience troubleshooting complex mail flow and performance issues at scale Ability to work independently in a remote, contract‑based role Nice to Have Experience with Exchange migration tools (native Microsoft tools and/or third‑party tools) PowerShell scripting for Exchange administration Experience supporting high‑availability or globally distributed Exchange environments Prior consulting or contract experience in enterprise IT settings Seniority level Mid‑Senior level Employment type Contract Job function Information Technology Industries IT Services and IT Consulting Inferred from the description for this job Medical insurance Vision insurance 401(k) Disability insurance Get notified about new Exchange Administrator jobs in United States . #J-18808-Ljbffr Premier Staffing Partners
