Job Description

Position Title: Assistant Product Manager

This role is designed for a motivated individual eager to contribute to the success of product management initiatives. The Assistant Product Manager will play a crucial role in supporting the product development cycle, ensuring that schedules are maintained and communication with vendors is efficient. The position offers a dynamic work environment, where creativity and organization are key to managing multiple tasks. Salary Range: $60,000 – $68,000 / Year DOE

Assistant Product Manager Responsibilities:

• Support the product manager in keeping track of schedules
• Document sample testing and maintain organized records
• Communicate effectively with vendors
• Assist in the design and development cycle
• Conduct market research to inform product strategies
• Work closely with manufacturers and keep internal databases updated
• Assist with product launch schedules and ensure deadlines are met
• Create slideshows for meetings
• Plan and travel to tradeshows, approximately three times a year

Assistant Product Manager Requirements:

• 1-2 years of experience as a junior product manager or product coordinator, including internship experience
• Experience in retail, specifically with products
• Proficiency in Mac OS, Microsoft Office Suite, Google Apps, Slack, and project management software such as Asana
• Bachelor's degree is preferred
• Knowledge of photography and videography is a plus
• Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, Bridge) is preferred
• Understanding of professional audio and DJ equipment, stage lighting, and DMX knowledge is preferred
