We are looking for a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to support daily financial operations for a growing team. This contract opportunity with potential for a permanent role is ideal for someone who is confident managing core accounting activities, maintaining accurate records, and keeping financial information organized. The right candidate will be comfortable working in QuickBooks and handling both payables and receivables while ensuring accounts remain current and reconciled.

Responsibilities:
• Maintain accurate financial records by recording day-to-day transactions and keeping bookkeeping documentation up to date
• Process vendor invoices, prepare payments, and monitor outstanding obligations to support timely accounts payable activity
• Issue customer invoices, track incoming payments, and follow up on open balances to manage accounts receivable effectively
• Reconcile bank statements and internal financial records on a regular basis to identify and resolve discrepancies
• Review account activity for accuracy and consistency, making corrections when needed to support reliable reporting
• Use QuickBooks to enter, organize, and maintain financial data in a clear and efficient manner
• Assist with routine financial reporting and provide organized records to support accounting and business operations• Proven experience performing full-cycle bookkeeping duties in a detail-focused setting
• Hands-on proficiency with QuickBooks for daily accounting and recordkeeping tasks
• Working knowledge of accounts payable processes, including invoice review and payment coordination
• Working knowledge of accounts receivable functions, including billing and payment tracking
• Experience completing bank reconciliations with strong attention to detail
• Ability to manage financial information accurately while meeting deadlines
• Strong organizational and communication skills with a dependable, detail-focused work style
