Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated CNC Service Engineer to join our team in Rockford, IL. In this role, you will be responsible for providing top-notch service and support for our CNC machinery, ensuring optimal performance and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities

• Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of CNC machines at customer sites.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and software issues.
• Provide technical support and training to customers on CNC operations.
• Document service activities and maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to improve machine performance and reliability.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in CNC technology.
• Travel to customer locations as needed to provide on-site support.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Precision Machining, Industrial Maintenance Technology, Control Systems, Electrical Automation, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a CNC Service Engineer or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of CNC machinery and control systems.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Willingness to travel throughout northern half of IL (approximately 10% total overnight) and work flexible hours as needed.
