Engineering Professor - Part-Time

Part‑time faculty positions at the college are open continuously and reviewed quarterly. Applicants remain active for 12 months. Submission does not guarantee a position. Position Highlights This position is responsible for preparing and teaching introductory Engineering courses. Essential Functions Prepare and teach Engineering Design, with an emphasis on teamwork, project management, design process, and service learning. Prepare and teach parametric solid modeling using SolidWorks software to create virtual models. Prepare and teach hand‑drawing as a tool for visualization. Prepare and lead previously developed in‑class design activities. Interface with clients regarding service‑learning projects. Prepare and teach other freshman and sophomore transfer engineering courses. Mentor student teams and evaluate student work. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications Masters degree in engineering or closely related field from an accredited college or university, or comparable professional credentials. Preferred Qualifications Experience teaching college‑level engineering courses. Salary ranges from $1,380.59 to $1,510.48 per credit hour, subject to COLA and other adjustments.
