Registered Nurse – Med/Surg

Location: Kansas City, MO

Hourly rate: $30-42/hr + 10% shift diff

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Registered Nurse to join our Medical/Surgical unit in Kansas City, MO. In this role, you'll provide hands-on care to a diverse patient population, focusing on recovery and optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized care plans to meet patient needs
• Administer medications, monitor patient responses, and adjust care plans as necessary
• Document patient care, observations, and progress accurately in the electronic medical record
• Assist in preparing patients and families for discharge by providing education and support
• Act as an advocate for patients, ensuring they receive comprehensive and compassionate care throughout their stay

Qualifications:

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Missouri
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN preferred)
• Previous experience in a Med/Surg or acute care setting is a plus
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented approach to patient care
