Scarlet Oaks Care Center is seeking a dedicated and experienced Respiratory Therapist (RT) to join our Weekend Warrior Night Shift Team . This opportunity is ideal for a Respiratory Therapist who is passionate about delivering exceptional respiratory care and thrives in a fast-paced, resident-focused environment.

Position Overview

As a Weekend Warrior Respiratory Therapist , you will provide respiratory care and clinical support to residents during weekend overnight shifts. Working closely with nursing leadership, physicians, and the interdisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in promoting resident health, comfort, and quality outcomes.

Schedule:

• Weekend Warrior Program

• 12-Hour Night Shifts

• Every Friday Night, Saturday Night, and Sunday Night (or designated weekend schedule)

• Opportunity for additional shifts available

Key Responsibilities

• Assess residents' respiratory status and respond appropriately to changes in condition

• Administer respiratory treatments and therapies as ordered by physicians

• Perform trach care, suctioning, oxygen management, and airway support

• Monitor respiratory equipment and ensure proper functionality

• Collaborate with nursing staff and providers to develop and implement care plans

• Accurately document assessments, treatments, and resident responses

• Maintain compliance with infection control, safety, and regulatory standards

• Respond to respiratory emergencies and provide clinical support during overnight hours

• Educate residents, families, and staff regarding respiratory care as needed

Qualifications

• Active Ohio Respiratory Therapist license (RRT or CRT)

• Previous respiratory therapy experience preferred

• Ventilator, trach, and pulmonary care experience preferred

• Strong assessment and critical-thinking skills

• Excellent communication and documentation abilities

• Ability to work independently and effectively during overnight shifts

• Skilled nursing, rehabilitation, long-term care, hospital, or LTACH experience preferred
