About the Position

Job Description.

• Perform the full spectrum of sterile techniques, setting up surgical trays, preparing and draping patients for Surgery, and assisting with post-operative dressings.
• Ensure surgical packs are cleaned and packed for sterilization after every procedure, to include restocking surgical supplies.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment for the patient either by active participation in the cleaning of clinical spaces, operating rooms, and medical equipment, or by guiding other personnel in the environmental maintenance

Requirements

• Must have at least 2 years of Surgical Technologist experience within the past 3 years.
• BLS by AHA
• Must have at least 3 months of experience assisting with Mohs surgery and post-operative wound care within the past 12 months.
• Certificate from an accredited Surgical Technology program (CAAHEP or ABHES) or completion of a U.S. military surgical technician training program.
• Certification: Must be certified as a Surgical Technologist (CST) through NBSTSA, Tech-in-Surgery (TS-C) through NCCT, or have a qualifying U.S. military certification.
