Per-Diem Medical Assistant - Primary Care/Occ Health

Medical Assistant
needed for a per-diem contract
opportunity with Yoh's high-end entertainment client located in Burbank, CA.
May float to other locations in the area, including Culver City.

Primarily front office responsibilities and filling in for back office when needed. Looking for a seasoned Medical Assistant with a strong administrative background to be the face of a very well-known company's health center. The clinic is open to employees and offers primary care service.

--> Clinic Hours : Monday-Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm

--> SCHEDULE:


As-needed to cover call-outs and PTO requests. So far we need Monday May 11th through Friday May 15th, Monday May 18th, and Tuesday May 19th.

Top Skills You Should Possess:

• Registered or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, CCMA) or at minimum , Medical Assistant Certificate/Diploma accompanied with transcripts
• At least one year of recent experience working as a Medical Assistant
• Positive attitude, professional, and excellent customer service skills
• Looking for a responsible, friendly, and helpful employee who's not afraid to learn and work autonomously as well as a team

What You'll Be Doing:

• Front-line, patient facing support at the health center
• Greet patients and check them in/out
• Answer and route calls
• Copy, scan, file, and maintain accurate documentation
• Office organization and support daily clinic operations
• Scheduling and managing multi-service appointments in EPIC
• Assist the Medical Director with back office tasks as-needed: blood draws, injections, vitals, first-aid, etc.
• Other administrative duties as assigned

What You Need to Bring to the Table:

• TB (PPD) test from within the last year (or willing to obtain upon being hired)
• Recent EPIC EMR experience highly preferred
• Confidentiality, compliance, and professionalism
• Detail-oriented
• Must be comfortable with blood draws
