Systems Engineer

JRAD is seeking candidates for a contingent / future position supporting the DHS Science and Technology (S&T). This position is Washington DC/ possibly hybrid. Roles/Responsibilities: Advises senior leadership and program managers on strategic direction, aligning recommendations with current industry standards and emerging innovations within a specialized functional area. Provides high-level vision to shape objectives and outcomes for complex programs, projects, and organizational initiatives. Develops and guides functional procedures, processes, and policies based on deep subject-matter expertise. Leads and supports in-depth research, studies, and analyses to inform decision-making and strategic planning. Evaluates challenges and develops actionable, evidence-based solutions to address complex problems. Applies advanced principles, methodologies, and domain knowledge to design and implement specialized solutions. Contributes expertise across areas such as data analytics, economic and behavioral analysis, systems and network communications, process improvement, performance management, and regulatory compliance.
