VP, Inside Sales (SMB) | B2B SaaS

I'm partnering with an established, PE-backed vertical software business looking to appoint a VP of Inside Sales , reporting directly to the CRO.

\n

\n

This is an opportunity to build and scale a North American SMB sales function, with significant autonomy to shape the team, strategy and commercial execution.

\n

\n

Key Responsibilities:

\n
    \n
  • Build, hire and develop a high-performing SMB inside sales team.
    • \n
  • Own revenue growth across new logos, cross-sell, upsell and cloud migration.
    • \n
  • Establish scalable sales processes, forecasting and coaching methodologies.
    • \n
  • Develop a structured hunter/farmer sales model.
    • \n
  • Partner with senior leadership to accelerate commercial growth.
    • \n

What We're Looking For:

\n
    \n
  • 10+ years in B2B software sales, including 5+ years leading SMB inside sales teams.
    • \n
  • Proven experience building and scaling quota-carrying AE teams.
    • \n
  • Strong background in vertical SaaS and high-velocity sales environments.
    • \n
  • Track record of delivering revenue growth through structured sales execution.
    • \n
  • Industrial SaaS, manufacturing or construction technology experience is a strong plus, not essential.
    • \n

Location: Candidates need to be based in the Dallas-Fort Worth or Atlanta areas

\n

Compensation: Circa $175K base + $100K variable ($275K OTE)
