About the Position

The unit has 26 beds with a patient ratio of 6:1. Staff includes secretaries, patient care technicians, and navigators. Equipment on the unit includes coolers, walkers, sequential compression devices, and continuous passive motion machines. The documentation system used is Meditech. Scheduling requires 4 weekend shifts per schedule. Floating policy involves rotation among units. Patient experience requirement is 72%. Advanced skills needed include procedures performed on the unit such as knee and hip replacements and multi-level spine surgeries. Dress code consists of navy scrubs.
