Backend Developer II

Backend Developer Position Summary We are seeking a Backend Developer to support the design, development, and enhancement of its suite of software applications of the Apprenticeship Compliance System. This position requires a detail-oriented professional with strong technical expertise, sound judgment, and the ability to contribute effectively within a collaborative development environment. Compensation and Benefits Salary Range: $75,000 – $85,000 annually Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package Work Schedule: Hybrid Primary Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain backend application and database components for both new and existing systems Participate in the review and development of technical requirements and system specifications Contribute to the development of test cases, scenarios, and plans to ensure alignment with business requirements Implement system enhancements, modifications, and monitoring solutions in accordance with approved requirements Additional Responsibilities Develop and expand database structures, APIs, and ETL processes Ensure adherence to data privacy, security, and protection standards Participate in team meetings to communicate progress, identify challenges, and support development planning Diagnose and resolve performance issues, including memory utilization and I/O bottlenecks Provide technical support related to asynchronous processing and application performance optimization Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or GED required Experience Requirements: 4–6 years of professional software development experience, or a Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field with 2–4 years of relevant experience Demonstrated experience within the .NET ecosystem , including Entity Framework Core Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve performance-related issues Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams #J-18808-Ljbffr Gilder Search Group
