BG Staffing is seeking an experienced and customer-focused Tax Credit Leasing Consultant to support an affordable housing community in Denton, TX 76209 . This role is ideal for a leasing professional who is knowledgeable in Tax Credit and Affordable Housing programs, enjoys helping residents, and thrives in a fast-paced property management environment.

Position Details

• Role: Tax Credit Leasing Consultant
• Location: Denton, TX 76209
• Pay: $18/hr
• Schedule: Monday-Saturday, 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM
• Time Off: One day off during the week
• Opportunity Type: Temp-to-Hire

Responsibilities

• Greet prospective residents and conduct professional property tours
• Process applications, lease agreements, renewals, and resident paperwork
• Ensure compliance with Tax Credit and Affordable Housing regulations
• Verify income documentation and maintain accurate resident files
• Provide exceptional customer service to current and prospective residents
• Answer phones, respond to emails, and assist with resident inquiries
• Assist with occupancy goals, marketing efforts, and resident retention
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in property management software
• Support daily office operations and administrative tasks

Requirements

• Previous apartment leasing experience required
• Proficient in Tax Credit and Affordable Housing programs
• Strong understanding of compliance requirements and resident qualification processes
• Yardi experience preferred
• Excellent customer service, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy with documentation
• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
