Pre K Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist in Sylmar, CA

Bring your expertise in speech-language pathology to a welcoming, student-focused contract opportunity serving elementary and Pre K students across two supportive school sites. This full-time position begins as soon as possible and offers the flexibility to work throughout the school year, extend into summer ESY, and potentially return for the next school year. You’ll provide essential services for students in transitional kindergarten through 6th grade with a variety of needs, including mild articulation, language deficits tied to mild-moderate disabilities, and select augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) requirements. Your skills will directly empower young learners to discover and utilize their voices. Key Qualifications Current SLP licensure and certification Experience supporting elementary, Pre K, and middle school students Familiarity with mild articulation disorders and language deficits Competency in AAC strategies a plus Commitment to creating accessible, positive learning environments Schedule and Responsibilities Full-time, contract position Serve across two local school campuses (2 days at one site, 3 days at another) School 1 staff work hours: 7:45am – 3:15pm; school 2: 8:15am – 3:45pm Deliver individualized and group interventions for students with diverse needs Collaborate with educators, support teams, and families Maintain timely, accurate documentation and progress reports Assignment Details Immediate start, with assignment running through June 11 (for the 25/26 school year) Optional ESY extension from June 17 to July 17, with potential to return for 26/27 academic year starting August 5 Embark on a rewarding role that lets you make a tangible difference each day.
