Who are we looking for? We are seeking a motivated and experienced Production Supervisor to lead daily manufacturing operations and drive operational excellence. This individual will bring strong leadership, a commitment to safety and quality, and the ability to manage performance in a fast-paced production environment. The ideal candidate thrives on coaching teams, solving problems, and continuously improving processes to meet both customer and organizational expectations. What will you be doing? As a Production Supervisor, you will oversee daily manufacturing operations to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality production. You will: Lead and supervise production teams to achieve safety, quality, and efficiency targets Plan, coordinate, and monitor workflow to align staffing and resources with production schedules Ensure strict adherence to safety policies, EHS standards, quality requirements, and regulatory compliance Drive communication and accountability through tier meetings, shift start-up meetings, and performance reviews Coach, develop, and support team members through training, feedback, and performance management Address attendance, behavioral, and performance concerns in alignment with company policies Troubleshoot production issues, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective/preventive actions Monitor KPIs, analyze trends, and lead continuous improvement initiatives (safety, quality, delivery, efficiency) Promote and sustain 5S, waste reduction, and process standardization efforts Ensure proper equipment use, maintenance coordination, and timely escalation of issues Collaborate cross-functionally with Quality, Maintenance, Planning, and Warehouse teams Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant manufacturing environment Document production activities, complete shift reports, and ensure accurate system transactions Support hiring, onboarding, and workforce planning efforts as needed Perform additional duties to support business operations as required Who are You? Qualifications & Skills: Proven experience in manufacturing, production, or operations leadership Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, safety standards, and quality systems Excellent leadership and team development capabilities Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills Effective communication skills across all organizational levels Ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and attention to detail Proficiency in Microsoft Office and production/reporting systems Knowledge of Lean principles, including 5S and continuous improvement Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to read and interpret work instructions, production documents, and safety procedures Preferred Qualifications: Associate's degree with 3–5 years of manufacturing experience Experience supervising in multi-shift environments Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement certification Experience with ERP or MES systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, JDE, Plex) Familiarity with root cause analysis tools (5 Why, Fishbone, FMEA) Experience leading safety, quality, or productivity improvement initiatives Background in high-volume or high-precision manufacturing environments Mechanical aptitude or hands-on experience with production equipment What competencies will you need?
