Join the team at Frenchette Bakery at the Whitney! This dynamic location expands our offerings at Frenchette Bakery to include sweet and savory breakfast, lunch, and take-away options, all within the iconic setting of the Whitney Museum of American Art!

We are actively seeking enthusiastic and dedicated candidates to join our Front of House (FOH) team, individuals with a passion for hospitality who want to contribute to creating a warm and positive environment for our guests.

Responsibilities:

Baristas:

• Craft and serve high-quality coffee and specialty beverages
• Provide exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee station

Servers:

• Ensure a positive and memorable dining experience for guests
• Take orders, serve food and beverages, and address customer inquiries
• Collaborate with the team to maintain a smooth and efficient service flow

Bartenders:

• Craft both call drinks and house cocktails to the highest standards of quality and freshness
• Provide excellent customer service to create a memorable experience for guests
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar station

Hosts:

• Welcome every guest with genuine warmth and a friendly disposition
• Maintain the flow of the dining room with a strategic eye on service
• Set the tone for a fun and friendly service

Qualifications:

• At least 1+ years of customer service experience
• A friendly and welcoming disposition
• Ability to lead by example and motivate others
• Strong multitasking skills and efficient problem-solving abilities
• Maintain a safe and high standard of cleanliness following operations and DOH guidelines
• Flexibility with schedule (open availability, weekends required)
• Food Handler’s/Food Protection License a plus
• Must be able to lift, push, pull, and carry objects up to 30 lbs
