Registered Nurse - Cancer Center - Days

Hourly Pay Range $36.00 - $55.80 – The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors. Position Highlights Position: Registered Nurse, Oncology Location: Evanston Hospital – Kellogg Evanston Cancer Center Part Time | 20 hours/week Hours: shifts will vary between Monday – Friday: 2 days – 10 hour shifts, no weekends or holidays. Summary The Staff Nurse will deliver safe and compassionate nursing care for all patient populations by planning, implementing, and evaluating the patient plan of care. The Staff Nurse will collaborate with nurses, physicians, and other members of the clinical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care. What You Will Do Independently provide safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care for a patient population on a specific unit. Utilize the nursing process in planning, implementing, and evaluating the patient plan of care. Guide and direct assigned unlicensed assistive personnel in delivering interdisciplinary patient care. Communicate and collaborate with members of the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care. Positively contribute to safety outcomes and promote high quality patient experience. What You Will Need Licensure: Current State of Illinois Registered Nurse licensure, required. Education: Associate's in Nursing, required. Bachelor's in Nursing, strongly preferred. Certification: Current CPR Certification issued by either American Heart Association, required. OCN/ONS provider card preferred. Experience: Minimum of 1 year of Oncology Outpatient Infusion Center experience required; if no oncology experience, ED, ICU, PACU experience highly preferred.
