Human Resource Administrator

Job Details Location: Arcade, NY 14009 Salary: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year Shift: 1st Shift Work type: Full-time, On-site We are looking for a vibrant Human Resource Specialist to join our team, which specializes in the manufacturing of rotating electrics. This position requires a detail‑oriented individual with excellent communication skills and a strong understanding of HR practices and employment laws. Key Responsibilities Recruitment and Staffing: Coordinate and manage the recruitment process, including posting job openings, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and onboarding new employees. Employee Relations: Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns, providing guidance and support to ensure a positive work environment. Performance Management: Assist in the development and implementation of performance management systems, including conducting performance reviews and providing feedback to employees. Compliance: Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, including maintaining accurate employee records and handling sensitive information with confidentiality. Training and Development: Coordinate and facilitate employee training programs to enhance skills and knowledge, supporting career development and growth. HR Administration: Manage HR administrative tasks, such as maintaining employee records, processing payroll, and handling benefits administration. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Proven experience in HR roles, preferably in a corporate setting, with a people‑centric approach. Strong knowledge of HR practices, employment laws, and regulations. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality. Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite. Preferred Skills Experience with HRIS systems. Certification in HR (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR). Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Working Conditions & Physical Requirements Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times. Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization’s facilities. Must be comfortable on a manufacturing floor.
