Job Requirements and Duties Must be 18 years of age and have a valid driver's license with a safe driving record meeting company standards. Must have access to an insured vehicle which can be used for delivery. Possess navigational skills to read maps and locate addresses within the designated delivery area, including navigating adverse terrain and multi-story buildings. Qualifications General job duties for all store team members Operate all equipment. Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, walk-in cooler. Prepare product. Receive and process telephone orders. Take inventory and complete associated paperwork. Clean equipment and facility approximately daily. Communication Skills Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions. Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders both over the phone and in person. Essential Functions / Skills Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (may use calculator). Must be able to make correct monetary change. Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders. Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to rapidly and accurately make precise movements with speed. Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen. Exposure to varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions, temperature fluctuations, fumes from food odors, cornmeal dust, cramped quarters, hot surfaces/tools up to 500°F, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts. Physical Demands Standing: Most tasks are performed from a standing position. Walking surfaces include tile or linoleum in food process areas. Height of work surfaces is between 36\" and 48\". Measures of walking distances and pace are short. Walking: Generally short distances and short durations. Sitting: Paperwork is normally completed in an office at a desk or table. Lifting: Bulk product deliveries are made twice a week or more, including cases of ingredients and supplies weighing up to 50 pounds (dimensions up to 3' x 1.5\"). Cases are lifted from floor and stocked onto shelves up to 72\" high. Carrying: Items such as pizza sauce can weigh up to 30 pounds. Trays of pizza dough are carried three at a time over short distances, weighing approx. 12 pounds. Pushing: Trays on dollies require a force of up to 7.5 pounds to push. Trays may also be pulled. Climbing: Staff must infrequently navigate stairs or ladders to change prices on signs, wash walls, or perform maintenance. Bending and Stoop: Forward bending at the waist is necessary at the pizza assembly station; duration approx. 30-45 seconds at a time, repeated throughout the day. Crouching/ Squatting: Occasionally to stock shelves and clean low areas. Reaching: Continuous reaching up to 72\" to operate ovens, change sign prices, lower or lift objects from shelves; reaching down to scoop cornmeal or wash dishes. Hand Tasks: Eye-hand coordination essential. Frequent use of both hands for shaping dough, using pizza peel, rolling cutter, packing boxes, etc. Driver or Store Management Responsibilities Carry pizzas, sides, and beverages while walking and climbing during delivery. Drive and deliver pizzas within the designated delivery area and make several deliveries per shift. Travel between the store and delivery vehicle and from vehicle to customer locations.
