Overview This is a role with one of Slalom’s global teams – we are open to hiring in many locations and travel will be required as needed by our clients. Responsibilities Strategic Advisory & M&A Support Lead business strategy engagements focused on M&A readiness, integration planning, and enterprise capability assessment Partner with client leadership to evaluate enterprise platform landscapes and identify synergies, gaps, and transformation opportunities Develop and present strategic roadmaps that align technology capabilities with business value streams and GTM objectives Facilitate executive workshops to align stakeholders on priorities, risks, and integration sequencing Strategic Roadmap Development Develop comprehensive strategic roadmaps that sequence enterprise platform initiatives across people, process, and technology dimensions, grounded in a firsthand understanding of what delivery and architecture decisions look like in practice Apply delivery leadership and solution architecture experience to assess the feasibility, sequencing, and risk profile of enterprise initiatives Translate platform-level architectural trade-offs such as build vs. buy vs. integrate decisions, integration complexity, and data migration risk into strategic planning inputs that inform M&A integration timelines and investment priorities Identify and communicate dependencies, constraints, and critical path items that can only be surfaced by someone with hands-on platform configuration and engagement delivery experience Conduct detailed level-of-effort (LOE) analysis, complexity scoring, and risk assessments for enterprise initiatives Develop strategic roadmaps that sequence workstreams across people, process, and technology dimensions Produce high quality deliverables including business cases, capability assessments, and implementation plans What you’ll bring Experience Minimum 5 years of experience delivering technical projects in a consulting environment Track record of managing client-facing engagements from initiation through post-go-live support Experience working across multiple industries and client sizes is strongly preferred Demonstrated experience in both Delivery Lead and Solution Architect roles on the same or comparable engagements Ability to context-switch between strategic leadership and hands-on technical design Proven ability to manage ambiguity while maintaining delivery rigor Technical Expertise Strong hands-on background configuring enterprise business platform applications Experience with platforms such as Salesforce, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, Oracle, or comparable ERP/CRM systems Familiarity with enterprise integration tools, APIs, and middleware platforms Proficiency with enterprise AI tools including ChatGPT Enterprise and Claude Enterprise Experience leveraging AI-assisted workflows for analysis, documentation, and strategic synthesis Ability to identify and champion responsible AI adoption within client environments Business & Strategic Acumen Deep understanding of GTM motions, business capabilities, and value streams enabled by enterprise applications Knowledge of how platforms support Sales, Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, and Service operations Ability to connect platform capabilities to revenue, efficiency, and customer experience outcomes Strong analytical skills to assess LOE, complexity, and risk across enterprise initiatives Experience developing strategic roadmaps with clear prioritization logic and dependency mapping Proficiency in structuring and communicating findings for C-suite audiences About Us Slalom is a fiercely human business and technology consulting company that leads with outcomes to bring more value, in all ways, always. For this role, we are hiring at the following levels and targeted base pay salary ranges: The targeted base salary pay range for Senior Consultant in Silicon Valley and San Francisco is $131,000 to $185,000. And for Boston, LA, White Plains, New Jersey, New York City, Seattle, San Diego, Orange County, and Washington DC the range is $149,000 to $176,000. And for all other locations the range is $137,000 to $160,000. The targeted base salary pay range for Principal in Silicon Valley and San Francisco is $168,000 to $240,000. And for Boston, LA, White Plains, New Jersey, New York City, Seattle, San Diego, Orange County, and Washington DC the range is $154,000 - $220,000. And for all other locations the range is $141,000 - $200,000. In addition, individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Actual compensation will depend upon an individual’s skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors.
