As a billing assistant, you’ll play an important role in the success of the organization by using your attention to detail, resiliency, communication and collaboration skills. About the Role You’ll assist patients, answer billing questions and set up payment agreements using your kindness, problem-solving and customer service skills. Responsibilities include: Provide billing customer service to patients, answering patient questions and setting up billing agreements Process claims, post payments, and other billing clerical tasks Provide patients with education about our sliding fee discount program, and support with sliding fee applications You will travel to all Neighborhood sites in Western New York as needed.
