Electrical Maintenance Technician

Adecco Staffing is working with a growing manufacturing company in Chester, VT to hire an Industrial Maintenance Technician. Position: Industrial Maintenance Technician Shift: 1st Shift | Monday – Friday Pay: $24.00 – $32.00 per hour (based on experience) Job Type: Direct Hire / Temp-to-Hire Why Work Here? • First shift schedule • Competitive pay based on experience • Direct hire opportunity available • Stable manufacturing environment • Opportunity to work with a variety of production equipment • Long-term career growth and advancement opportunities Job Duties: • Perform preventative maintenance on production equipment and facility systems • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment • Respond to equipment breakdowns and perform emergency repairs as needed • Diagnose equipment issues and implement corrective actions • Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and process improvements • Complete maintenance work orders and documentation accurately • Support continuous improvement initiatives to reduce downtime and improve efficiency • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and manufacturing standards • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment Qualifications: • Previous maintenance experience in manufacturing, industrial, production, food manufacturing, or related environments • Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills • Experience working with electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems preferred • Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals • Experience with conveyors, motors, pumps, gearboxes, bearings, or production equipment is a plus • Welding, fabrication, or PLC troubleshooting experience is a plus • Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks • Strong problem-solving and communication skills Physical Requirements: • Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and climb throughout the shift • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds • Ability to work around machinery and manufacturing equipment • Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment safely If you are interested in this position, please apply using the link provided and be sure to include an updated resume.
