Our client, a leading fresh food distribution company, is seeking two Maintenance Technician I professionals for a temp-to-hire position in Little Canada, MN. This entry-level role performs a variety of maintenance and repair tasks to support the safe and efficient operation of facility equipment, buildings, and grounds.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive maintenance on facility equipment and systems
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical equipment and components
• Replace belts, hoses, filters, and fixtures as needed
• Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively
• Complete work orders and maintain accurate maintenance records
• Comply with all safety procedures and guidelines
• Maintain a clean, organized work area

Required Qualifications:

• Entry-level mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Experience with equipment maintenance and repair
• Ability to use hand and power tools
• Strong attention to detail and record-keeping ability
• Must be comfortable working in a cold, wet refrigerated environment averaging 36°F year-round
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs

About the Role:

• Contract duration: Temp-to-hire (approximately 2,080 hours)
• Schedule: Sunday – Thursday, 4:00 PM – 2:00 AM
• Location: Little Canada, MN 55117 (onsite)
• Travel: None required
• Compensation: Competitive rate
• Work environment: Cold and wet refrigerated facility, approximately 36°F year-round
