Core Responsibilities

As a Dedicated Class A Driver, you will safely operate a commercial vehicle transporting freight throughout a defined territory covering Shelby, North Carolina; Lexington, Kentucky; Roanoke, Virginia; Knoxville, Tennessee; and Chattanooga, Tennessee. Your primary duties include maintaining safe and legal compliance with all Department of Transportation regulations, conducting pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, and documenting all trips accurately. You will be responsible for assisting with hand-unloading merchandise using rollers and equipment provided by the organization, ensuring proper product placement and inventory accuracy at delivery locations. Your route will be predictable and manageable, typically spanning 120 miles from the Shelby base with strategic stops throughout the designated territory. You will interact professionally with warehouse personnel, retail managers, and customers, representing our client's commitment to excellent service. Documentation of all deliveries, including signatures and delivery confirmations, must be completed accurately and submitted on schedule. You will maintain communication with dispatch regarding your location, status, and any issues encountered during your route. Vehicle maintenance reporting is essential—you must immediately notify management of any mechanical issues or safety concerns. Following established safety protocols, traffic laws, and company policies is non-negotiable. Must-Have Requirements

You must possess a valid Commercial Driver's License (Class A CDL) with a clean driving record and acceptable Motor Vehicle Report.
