The ideal Night Auditor is reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working overnight shifts. They’re good with numbers and enjoy keeping things organized, making sure daily reports are accurate and balanced. This person can work well on their own, stay focused during quiet hours, and still provide warm, helpful service to guests who may check in late or need assistance overnight. Reports to the Hotel Manager. Responsibilities Graveyard shift but shift hours and workdays may vary according to business demands. Strong Guest service skills, i.e., smile, be friendly and professional when greeting anyone who approaches the Front Desk or Hotel Lobby and assist as needed. Complete required paperwork for various Front Desk transactions and accurately input information into the Opera system and/or Agilysys POS (Point of Sale). Accurately check guests in and out of Hotel through the Opera system. Make Hotel Reservations for Guests when applicable. Accurately process all Credit Card & Cash transactions in the Opera and/or Agilysys systems.Conduct telephone transactions according to the Front Desk Departmental SOPs. Record and input into the Opera system wake-up call requests. Work closely with related departments to ensure excellent internal and external guest service. Attention to detail and organizational skills. Time management and multitasking skills. Adhere to all Company Policies and Departmental SOPs. Requirements Previous front desk or hotel experience is a plus, but a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and attention to detail are what really make someone successful in this role. Computer Skills Computer bookkeeping skills such as: Excel, data entry, invoice and billing. Ability to learn the Opera Hotel system and/or Agilysys POS (Point of Sale) system. Ability to learn paperwork for various Front Desk transactions and accurately input information into the Opera system and/or Agilysys POS (Point of Sale). Working knowledge of Word and Excel. Summary The Front Desk Night Auditor is responsible for creating a friendly and professional environment for our Guests while registering them into the Hotel upon check in, assisting the guests when applicable during their stay and settling their account upon check out, to ensure excellent Guest service. The Front Desk Night Auditor is also responsible for maintaining, producing, and submitting accurate Hotel reports to the Hotel Director and Management Team. #J-18808-Ljbffr
