We're hiring for our Green Bay, Madison, Milwaukee, and Eau Claire, WI offices. The ideal candidate will have expertise in bridge, retaining wall, and box culvert design. This role plays a key role across JT's municipal, transportation, and site development groups.

Job Responsibilities
- Lead the structural design of projects from concept through construction
- Mentor junior staff and performing quality control reviews of structural deliverables
- Collaborate with colleagues and embracing JT’s values and culture
- Communicate effectively internally and externally
- Perform quality work within established guidelines
- Assist with the management of project budgets
- Adhere to internal Quality Control processes to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Job Requirements
- A Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university
- 0 - 5 years of relevant experience
- A Professional Engineer (PE) License in the State of Wisconsin or ability to obtain PE within 6 months of hire
- Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D, Mathcad, RISA, LEAP Bridge, MDX, Eriksson Culvert and other comparable structural design software
- Familiarity with the WisDOT, AASTHO, ASCE, NDS, AISC, and other structural design codes (preferred)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Technical competence to perform project tasks independently
- Knowledge of client and internal software required to complete projects
- A valid driver's license and reliable transportation to worksites, meetings with clients, and attend conferences
- To be legally authorized to work permanently (i.e., without time limitations, restrictions, or need for work sponsorship) in the country where this position is located
- To occasionally travel out-of-town and overnight for professional development and/or project-related work
