Key Responsibilities of the RN - Med Surg

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients with various conditions, including end-stage renal disease and diabetes
• Manage patient care in a telemetry setting with responsibility for medication drips and other advanced skill sets
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including CNAs, phlebotomists, and intensivists, to deliver optimal care
• Adhere to hospital protocols, ensuring compliance with standards and patient safety guidelines

Requirements of the RN - Med Surg

• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Minimum 18 months of Med/Tele RN experience
• General Med/Tele skillset including stroke experience and cardiac rhythm interpretation
