Foster City, CAFinance, Places and Build – Accounting /Full-time /HybridWe are seeking a highly strategic and hands-on Senior Manager, Cost, Operational and Revenue Accounting to lead key areas of cost accounting, operational accounting, and revenue accounting, within a fast-growing and highly complex environment. This role will be responsible for overseeing cost of sales, product, technical revenue accounting, and fleet-related accounting, and scalable financial processes supporting Zoox’s commercial operations.This leader will partner cross-functionally with FP&A, Data Science, Supply Chain, Legal, and Systems teams to ensure accurate financial reporting, operational scalability, and compliance with US GAAP and SOX requirements.The ideal candidate brings a strong mix of technical accounting expertise, operational accounting experience, and leadership capabilities within high-growth technology, mobility, or operationally intensive environments.In this role, you will...Own and execute accounting for cost of sales, cost of product, fleet operations, and operational expenses, including allocation and accrual methodologiesAssist with revenue accounting operations, including ASC 606 analysis and revenue recognition conclusionsPartner with FP&A to support gross margin and robotaxi production reporting, and operational analyticsReview commercial contracts and evaluate accounting implicationsPrepare and review technical accounting memos and accounting position papersDrive process automation and ERP optimization initiatives, including GLA creation and accrual and allocation methodologiesSupport external audits, SOX compliance, and internal control programsCollaborate with Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Product teams on new business initiatives and operational launchesEnsure compliance with US GAAP, company policies, and regulatory requirementsQualifications12+ years of progressive accounting experienceBachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferredStrong knowledge of ASC 606 and technical accounting principlesExperience with cost accounting, operational accounting, and gross margin analysisBackground in mobility, SaaS, manufacturing, hardware-tech, logistics, or other operationally intensive industriesExperience supporting complex cross-functional business operationsStrong ERP systems experience, including SAPProven ability to build scalable processes in high-growth environmentsExcellent leadership, communication, and organizational skillsAbility to operate effectively in a fast-paced and evolving environmenBonus Qualifications Experience with fleet or service-based operational accountingExperience implementing or optimizing ERP systems and automation toolsPrior experience in autonomous vehicle, transportation, robotics, or technology industriesStrong analytical and process improvement mindset$188,000 - $226,000 a yearBase Salary RangeThere are three major components to compensation for this position: salary, Amazon Restricted Stock Units (RSUs), and Zoox Stock Appreciation Rights. A sign-on bonus may be offered as part of the compensation package. The listed range applies only to the base salary. Compensation will vary based on geographic location and level. Leveling, as well as positioning within a level, is determined by a range of factors, including, but not limited to, a candidate's relevant years of experience, domain knowledge, and interview performance.
