Emergency Room Registered Nurse

HealthTrust Workforce Solutions Regional is seeking a local contract nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a local contract nursing job in Denver, Colorado.

Job Description & Requirements

• Specialty: ED - Emergency Department
• Discipline: RN
• Duration: 13 weeks
• 36 hours per week
• Shift: 12 hours, evenings, nights
• Employment Type: Local Contract

Must have : candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.

• 1-year minimum of current acute care ED RN experience
• BLS, ACLS, ENPC, NIH & PALS
• Ability to work mid-shift/night shift 

Preferred or nice to have : candidates with these skills will be considered first.

• ER charge RN experience
• Willingness to float between ED Departments 

List typical procedures performed on unit(s): 

• EKGs, IVs, and medication administration
• Conscious sedation and wound care

• Number of Beds -11
• Number of Staff – 2 RNs 24/7, 1 medic 40 hours a week, 1 MD 24/7, 1 Radiology tech 24/7, 1 security guard 24/7
• Type of staff:
  • Day Shift – 2 RNs
  • Mid Shift-1 paramedic
  • Night Shift – 2 RNs
• Patient Ratios – 1:4
• Type of equipment -GE monitors, Baxter pumps
• EMR - Meditech

• 36 guaranteed hours a week and RTO upon request • Potential Overtime hours • 13 week contract, book directly with facility • Potential to extend contract with facility • Potential hourly incentives for specific specialties • 401k & Discounted stock purchase options
