Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN Endoscopy for a travel nursing job in Modesto, California. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Endoscopy Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/29/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Summary Gastroenterology Laboratory (GI LAB) Specialist in the local area. This position involves providing skilled support in the GI LAB for a designated contract period, ensuring high-quality patient care and adherence to clinical protocols. The role requires flexibility with call responsibilities and shift coverage. Job Details Certifications, Education, and Experience: CA Registered Nurse (RN) license, BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support); at least 2 years of experience as an RN; valid CA State License uploaded within the last 2 weeks. Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week. Additional Unit Details: Support for interdisciplinary teams; handling GI-related patient diagnoses; utilization of specialized procedures and equipment relevant to gastroenterology. Responsibilities: Provide direct patient care, support diagnostic procedures, document clinical findings accurately, and ensure compliance with facility and organizational protocols. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a GI lab setting and familiarity with electronic charting systems. RTO and Holiday Policy: Max RTO of 7 days per contract; holiday requests are limited to one per contract and include specific holidays beginning at 7:00 PM the night before the holiday through 7:00 AM the day after.
