Job Description
Title
Sterile Processing Technician - SPT

Schedule
Shift: Friday to Sunday

Requirements
- Required certifications: BLS, CBSPD, IAHCSMM/HSPA
- 2 years of experience preferred, but first-timers accepted
- Experience with trauma Level I preferred
- Core sterile processing skills:
- Decontamination / chemical agents
- High-level disinfection (HLD)
- Use of washers and steam sterilizers
- Sterilization wrapping and monitoring
- Sets/trays assembly
- Immediate-use steam sterilization (IUSS)
- Scope/endoscope reprocessing (e.g., bronchoscopes, cystoscopes, EGDs)
- Physical requirement: Ability to lift 30 lbs and stand for up to 5 hours
- EMR experience: Epic

Compliance / Notes
- Parking: Free
- Maximum 7 days of requested time off (RTO); RTO greater than 7 days requires approval
- Confirmation needed for local candidate restrictions within specified radius
