Job Details Job Location: Goodwill Main Plant-GWIMP - Miami, FL 33142 Position Type: Seasonal Education Level: High School Travel Percentage: Up to 25% Job Shift: Day Job Category: Human Resources Role Focus Provide direct service to participants through career planning and job search support. Each member is responsible for tracking and documenting at least 15 hours of career planning and job search skills for a minimum of 20 assigned participants. Emphasis on helping participants graduate program goals, secure employment, or advance their careers. Key Duties Deliver one-on-one and small-group career advancement sessions. Develop Career Success Plans for participants pursuing jobs or advancement. Monitor, document, and report participant progress with case notes. Connects participants to community resources, agencies, and post-secondary opportunities (referral to supportive services such as transportation, childcare, housing) and to workforce and career services (college, technical training, military, or employment). Conduct classroom instruction on goal setting, financial literacy, and career development. Facilitate workshops on job search skills, résumé building, interview preparation, and workplace professionalism. Provide individualized job coaching support through regular check-ins, goal setting, and motivational guidance. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Valid driver’s license. Must have a high school diploma or its equivalent. Has not enrolled more than four times in an AmeriCorps State or National Direct Program, or more than five one-year terms for VISTA programs or two terms for NCCC programs.
