Pediatric Gastroenterologist (casual position) Duluth, MN Essentia Health Duluth Children’s Hospital, a member of Essential Health, is the region’s largest provider of pediatric care. With 12 outpatient Pediatricians, 2 NPs, and many pediatric subspecialists on staff, including Hospital Medicine, PICU, Hematology/Oncology, Neonatology, PM&R, Cardiology, Pulmonology, Endocrinology, Gastroenterology, Neurology, Dermatology, Ophthalmology and Orthopedics, we are able to care for the area’s most critically ill infants and children. Essentia Health‑St. Mary’s Medical Center is a Level II Pediatric Trauma Center. PRACTICE SPECIFICS We are seeking a casual Pediatric Gastroenterologist in Duluth, MN, to join our growing team. The Pediatric Gastroenterologist will: Partner with our current, full‑time, Pediatric GI physician and support staff to grow services Perform a full spectrum of Endoscopy procedures in Essentia’s state‑of‑the‑art Digestive Health Center Partner on all GI hospital admissions with acute care Pediatric Hospitalists and Intensivists who serve as primary Be supported by child‑life specialists and other services uniquely designed for children and adolescents Join a robust pediatric subspecialty team as we continue to expand and grow services throughout our region Treat patients/families coming from an area that includes North Dakota, Minnesota, Wisconsin and the UP of Michigan REQUIREMENTS BC/BE Pediatric Gastroenterology LOCATION Duluth, MN – located at the westernmost tip of Lake Superior, 150 miles north of Minneapolis/St. Paul. Duluth population: 86,000; Regional service area: 460,000 COMPENSATION $187.00 an hour.
