Registered Nurse - PCU/Stepdown

Location: Cleveland, OH

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Night shift, 3-12 hour shifts, from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM.

Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team in the PCU/Stepdown unit. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 12 months of permanent experience in a PCU or Stepdown setting. The position requires an active Ohio nursing license or a compact state license, along with current BLS and ACLS certifications.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care in the PCU/Stepdown unit.
• Utilize critical thinking skills to assess and manage patient care.
• Monitor and interpret ECG rhythms and intervene as necessary.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 12 months of permanent experience in a PCU or Stepdown unit.
• Active Ohio nursing license or compact state license.
• BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
• Must successfully complete ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate during orientation.
