CNA for Companion Care in Montgomery Village

Caregiver Position Available

Home Helpers Home Care of Olney is looking to expand its Caregiver family. We are hiring kind, compassionate, and dedicated CNAs and GNAs that bring their passion to work. Home Helpers Home Care has been providing exceptional comprehensive home care services for over 20 years. We are currently seeking a part-time companion caregiver in Montgomery Village for a client who experiences seizures and has epilepsy. Experience caring for clients with seizure disorders is required. This is a companion care position that includes accompanying the client to grocery shopping and other errands. The schedule is Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Applicants must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Qualifications: - Will need current CPR and First Aid Certification - Current CNA license - Must have a valid driver's license and auto insurance - Must have reliable transportation - Must have good oral and written communication skills - Must be able to understand care plans and assessments - Must have current doctor's medical health clearance to work which includes a negative TB Test Responsibilities to include but not limited to: Personal Care (bathing, dressing, and transfers) Meal preparation Light housekeeping Monitor and report physical and behavioral changes Assist with medication reminders Assist with ambulation Monitor BP and glucose levels Compensation: $20.00 per hour
