Location: 4040 S Capitol Ave, Whittier CA Pay rate: $20-$21/hr Shift: 5AM-1:30PM M-F Duration: 12 Months
The Assembler is responsible for assembling and testing products, and for troubleshooting and resolving issues.
Responsibilities:
- Assemble components of all Product Lines. Select correct tools and fixtures.
- Test assembled products. Troubleshoot and resolve problems associated with the assembly and testing of products.
- Ensure ability to: read blueprints; identify components; use pertinent hand tools and rework techniques; operate equipment, dimensioning and setting tolerances of mechanical parts and assemblies.
- Create labor records for all transactions.
- Use the guiding principles and tools of the Manufacturing System to drive continuous improvement.
Physical Requirements:
- Candidates have to pass a physical for this role - they need to be able to lift 60 lbs from floor to knuckles levels on an occasional basis.
- Lift at least 60 pounds from floor to waist level on occasional basis.
- Lift at least 50 pounds from floor to shoulder level on occasional basis.
- Lift at least 30 pounds from floor to crown level on occasional basis.
