Electro-Mechanical Quality Control Test Technician I - 2nd Shift

Electro‑mechanical Quality Test Technician – Retrofit Team (2nd Shift) Location: Wendell, NC. Shift Hours: 3:00PM- 11:00PM Hourly Rate: $24.79 + $1.50 Shift Differential Basic Qualifications 1+ years of experience in testing, inspecting, and troubleshooting electrical equipment. Ability to conduct thorough final inspections on all electrical equipment, ensuring precision and attention to detail. Experience with various test equipment, including Hi‑pot testing. Proficiency in reading schematic drawings, layouts, and wire lists for circuit troubleshooting. Basic proficiency in English, including reading, writing, and speaking. Applicants must be legally authorized for employment within the United States without the need for current or future employer‑sponsored work authorization. Preferred Qualifications Associate or bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering. Residential or commercial electrical education or certifications. Responsibilities Perform final electro‑mechanical inspections on units, ensuring adherence to company quality standards and guidelines. Conduct nondestructive tests on equipment according to specifications and drawings, troubleshoot failures, and implement corrective actions. Prepare and maintain inspection and quality reports, working professionally with Engineering and Wirers during tests and reporting findings. Adhere to Environmental and Occupational Health and Safety policies, with a commitment to continuous improvement and be a strong team player.
