Tufts Medicine- MelroseWakefield Hospital is seeking an outstanding OB Laborist to join our Obstetrics & Gynecology team in Melrose, MA.

Our Maternal Newborn Department at MelroseWakefield Hospital includes:
- State-of-the-art and private newly remodeled labor and deliver suites and Mother Infant Unit Rooms
- Labor and Delivery triage area
- Level 2A Special Care Nursery
- In-house 24/7 anesthesia coverage
- In-house 24/7 neonatology coverage
Position Highlights:
10 shifts per month offering excellent flexibility
* 8, 12-hour shifts/month, Monday-Thursday, Nocturnist schedule: 7 PM-7 AM
* 2, 24-hour shifts/month, Sundays: 7 AM (Sunday) - 7 AM (Monday)
900 Deliveries Annually Shared between OB-Gyn Generalist Team
Dedicated support from in-house Anesthesia, Neonatology, and ICU teams 24/7
Opportunity to focus on inpatient obstetrics and consultative gynecology
Your Collaborative Role:
Provide obstetrical care on Labor & Delivery
Manage triage evaluations and admissions
Perform gynecologic consults and urgent care
Collaborate closely with nursing staff, and physician colleagues
Participate in quality initiatives and patient safety programs

Board Certified or Board Eligible in OB/GYN

Compensation:
The salary range for this position is $270,000 - $300,000 annually. Actual compensation will be determined during the selection process and is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, relevant experience, education, internal equity, and academic rank.
