Registered Nurse (RN) - ICU

Job Overview Fairview is looking for a Registered Nurse on the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at our Lakes Medical Center in Wyoming, MN. Schedule This role is a .75 FTE (60 hours every 2 weeks) working 12-hour night shifts, with every third weekend rotation. Variable weekday schedule. About this Unit The ICU unit is recognized for high patient satisfaction, employee engagement, and strong teamwork. This is a 10-bed unit with onsite hospitalist physician support. There is 24/7 Intensivist/Tele-ICU support provided through the M Health Fairview system. Our location also has free parking for employees! Responsibilities Assess patient needs and identify expected nursing outcomes. Collaborate with patient, family, and other health team members to develop a nursing plan as part of an integrated, comprehensive plan of care. Develop an individualized plan based on age, social and cultural considerations, condition and other relevant needs. Evaluate care and patient response to interventions and expected outcomes. Collaborate and communicate effectively and respectfully with the patient, family and members of the health care team within and across care settings to promote partnership-based health care. Demonstrate the ability to advance care by utilizing standards, guidelines, care pathways and continuous improvement to enhance patient outcomes. Promote a culture of evidence based practice (EBP).
