Neuro Diagnostic Technologist Full Time, Days, 40 hours per week

Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Neuro Diagnostic Technologist to join our team on a full-time basis. As a Neuro Diagnostic Technologist, you will be responsible for conducting diagnostic tests on patients to assist in the assessment and treatment of neurological conditions. This position requires a high level of professionalism, technical expertise, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

Conduct neurodiagnostic tests, including electroencephalograms (EEGs), to assess and monitor neurological activity.
Prepare patients for testing procedures, explaining the process and ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the procedure.
Operate and maintain diagnostic equipment, ensuring accuracy and reliability of test results.
Analyze test results and collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to interpret findings and develop treatment plans.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of procedures performed.
Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding diagnostic procedures and treatment options.

Requirements:

One year certificate from college or technical school; six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
R.EEGT. Credential (board registered electroencephalographic technologist) and/or completion of an Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) accredited Neurodiagnostics Program.
Strong knowledge of neuroanatomy, neurophysiology, and neurological disorders.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Current CPR certification (preferred).
Must be able to provide direct patient diagnostic testing and treatment through assessment and independent judgment.
Ability to implement the diagnostic process and secure quality patient recordings.
