Senior Accountant

Title: Senior AccountantLocation: Atlanta, Georgia (Onsite)Duration: Perm/Direct HireOverview:We are seeking a motivated and experienced Senior Accountant to join a growing accounting team within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is part of a strategic transition following an acquisition, where accounting operations are being consolidated and streamlined. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can operate with minimal supervision, take ownership of evolving responsibilities, and help drive process improvements during a period of change.Key Responsibilities:Support general accounting functions including journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end closeAssist with integration of accounting operations from an acquired entity, identifying efficiencies and eliminating redundanciesLead and support small projects and process improvement initiatives with minimal oversightAnalyze existing workflows and help implement new processes where neededCollaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth transition of accounting activitiesUtilize ERP systems to manage financial data and reportingProvide support in financial reporting and ensure compliance with accounting standards Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance3–4+ years of accounting experience (manufacturing industry experience required)Prior experience in public accounting is a strong plusCPA or CPA-track preferredExperience working in a fast-paced, high-growth or large company environment with strong training foundationHands-on experience with ERP systemsProven ability to work independently, take initiative, and adapt to changing responsibilitiesStrong analytical, organizational, and communication skills Applicant Notices & DisclaimersFor information on benefits, equal opportunity employment, and location-specific applicant notices, click here
