OR RN Full Time USPI Arizona Specialty Hospital is Hiring a OR RN Full Time! A specialty inpatient hospital established to set a new standard for excellence and patient satisfaction in orthopedic and spinal surgery. The hospital provides excellent patient services and the highest level of care with the overall goal of improving healthcare delivery in Maricopa County and beyond. Job Summary The Operating Room RN provides nursing care and service during surgery cases. The RN will be responsible for positioning the patient, prepping the patient, and circulating the case. Ideal candidate focused on excellent customer service, multi‑tasking ability, flexibility in assignments, scrupulous infection control standards, professional competencies, and teamwork within an interdependent multidisciplinary team. Responsible for helping our surgical patients through their inpatient stay, providing basic care needs, under the direction of a RN. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Minimum of two (2) previous OR experience preferred. Current Arizona Nursing License. Current CPR, ACLS certified. Ability to work independently and prioritize responsibilities. Ability to deal tactfully with patients, families, physicians, and employees. Ability to care for patients from adult to geriatrics. Knowledgeable of hospital policies and procedures specific to operating room nurse. Clinically proficient in operating room nursing skills, demonstrating knowledge of the developmental needs of the young adult, adult, and geriatric patient.
