Our client, a nationwide manufacturer of glass and metal products, has an immediate need for an experienced Diesel Mechanic , to join their winning team in Cicero.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/REQUIREMENTS
Must have general knowledge of the operation principles of diesel engines and associated components. Must be mechanically inclined and able to make some essential diagnoses and repair all of the components of tractors, trailers, and dollies. Must be proficient in PM services, with an ability to spot and detect pending failures and problems. Must be familiar with 12V electrical systems and be able to perform basic repairs to these systems. Should be computer literate and have some basic welding knowledge and ability. A/C certification and New York State Inspection certification are a plus. Must have own tools that are adequate for the tasks to be performed.WE OFFER
